Career Opportunities

 

Controls System Technician

We presently have an opening for a Controls Technician in the Operations department. The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Two – three years experience in executing projects in the construction or building controls industry.
  • Sound knowledge of HVAC systems and the construction environment.
  • Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical / Control Technologies diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong computer abilities with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Bilingualism is definitely as asset.

These positions are primarily responsible for maintaining, servicing and commissioning computerized heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) control equipment. The candidate will also be responsible for providing engineering and shop drawings. Under specific task direction, the technicians work on the maintenance or installation of VCI Controls’ systems at various sites.
